| In Prosperity By dclegg See comments 2009-03-12 | This only our second year at gardening in this area, but I will share with you what we have done and plan to do. Last year we didn't plant anything until the middle of May since we moved here the end of April. We had a very productive garden as far as beans, okra, peppers, squash, cucumbers and butterbeans. Not too good with tomatoes and corn, our fault. This year we are planning a raised bed garden. We will plant sugar snap peas, onions, radishes, lettuce and spinach in the next week depending on the rain. I have started broccoli and eggplant indoors and will start tomatoes, peppers and herbs this next week for transplant some time around the middle of April 1st of May. Let me know how your garden grows. |
