| Pepper placing in your garden. By GRNMOMMA See comments 2008-05-30 | I see that you have your sweet and hot peppers side by side in your garden. I just wanted to let you know that they will cross pollinate and you will end up with hot Bell peppers. Your hot peppers will not be as hot as they should have been. I read about this after I planted my garden last year and when I harvested I had this problem. I had the hottest green bell peppers, it was funny. I always say,"Experience is gained by learning from your mistakes" and I'm racking up alot of experience. Other than the peppers beside each other, I really like your layout. I hope your garden is abundant. Have a great season. |
