I see that you have your sweet and hot peppers side by side in your garden. I just wanted to let you know that they will cross pollinate and you will end up with hot Bell peppers. Your hot peppers will not be as hot as they should have been. I read about this after I planted my garden last year and when I harvested I had this problem. I had the hottest green bell peppers, it was funny. I always say,"Experience is gained by learning from your mistakes" and I'm racking up alot of experience.
Other than the peppers beside each other, I really like your layout. I hope your garden is abundant. Have a great season.

jdecola,
Can you post a picture on the forum or email me a picture.
Lettuce is tender and easy to eat and is a target of many uninvited guest.

animals will eat from the top down and there won't be holes in the leaves.
snails will leave a silvery trail somewhere around the leaf or ground
catipillars will put holes in leaves and sometimes leave dark pellets. Search in the center of some plants to see if you can find one.

Hey Philman...my asparagus finally sprouted. After that huge rain storm we had last week...12 of the 18 plants are going strong...was just an inch of tilling it under and starting over. Tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, lettuce, radishes and peas going strong. Planted the bush beans last week. Finally received my sweet potatoes in the mail, just waiting for the sun to come back to plant the rest of the garden. Patience is a gardeners virtue my friend :-)

Hi, I have two questions.
What type of Tomatos are you growing? I didn't see them in your garden.
How are you growing them. I doubt that they are kept outside in North Carolina. I imagine you have a greenhouse / coldframe or protected patio that you use to give the tomatoes what they need.
