Post Type of soil
I took some of my soil in to a nursery to have it tested, it came back that it was mostly clay and so I was wondering how this vegetable will do in a clay soil. Not sure if it will do good the person at the nursery did not think it would do good unless I mix my clay soil. Not sure what to do here Question

Post Clay soil
I have had lots of experience with clay soils.
If you have nutrients in the soil, that is one plus.

Roots need to breath, so it can be a problem especially if the soil gets water logged because it drains poorly.

The key to growing vegetable in this type of soil is to add lots of organic material (compost, fir mulch, straw) whatever is readily and cheaply available. Compost is the best as it add more nutrients to the soil, straw is Ok, but just a filler.
