I put Corn seeds in 2 weeks ago and so far not one plant has sprouted. Same with the cucumbers. Both in direct sun for at least 6-7 hours.I live in New Hampshire and the late May, early June has been cool.

I was contemplating reseeding this weekend. Should I put down plastic first to get the garden soil warm? Any guidance would be great.

Both like it warm for germination.
If that is the case, it may be too late to get plastic out and warm that way, but it is worth a try. The other thing is to use warm water from garden hose left in the sun and filled with water (a nozzle on the end) and then cover the garden at night with old blankets/plastic to keep the soil from loosing heat.

Corn doesn't like wet feet. If the ground is too wet too long that can also be a problem.

Just some ideas. Hope they take off the second time. I have had to reseed some corn for similar reasons.
