I googled around trying to find a simple web applet to maximize my raised bed "kitchen gardens" 12x12 area to 'see' spacing choices ie: 1st row away from border wall spacing versus row spacing and plant count affected by odd spacing numbers (27", 31", 37", etc.) to get CONFIDENCE I am putting it to the best use..

I would also be nice to have custom size garden as starting place - not choosing a nested bed within a larger 'garden'...

I've gone to container gardening this year for most of my food stuffs on this city lot; this May was the driest on record since 1934 so I have my old garden available and I wanted to try tobacco in the whole bed, I've grown it before but I need to play with 24 to 48 inch spacings and staggered row, or should it be circular layout, aaaaargh!!!
