Hi, I'm a newbie from Zone 5B who manages a large community garden that provides over 1,000 pounds of produce to local food banks during the growing season.

I love this software and find it very easy to use but there are some things I'd really like to see.

Let me create my own database of plants that I use. For instance, I grow about 2 dozen Italian paste tomatoes each year. I was able to name the individual plants as I put them on the grid, but the name did not add to the tomato listing. I'd like to add varieties that do very well in my garden as well as varieties that are very popular with the folks receiving the produce.

The next release of the software will be a new engine that will have a new database behind it.
The first pass will be to make it feature equivalent to what we already have.
BUT the VERY next release will be to add the feature that you are looking for.
We have a database that is pretty large that you will be able to choose from and then the ability to add you own icons and to extend the database beyond what is offered so you can have a fully customized solutions.

I can't wait to see that. We use very integrated gardening and are always trying new things.

I love this software and I really appreciate the fact that you listen to the folks using it.
