Post Toddler Safe Plants
This year I would like to bring my son outside while I garden so he can enjoy it as well. The only problem is he loves to put everything in his month. Anyone have any ideas on what would be safe (and unsafe) to plant in my garden this year? Last year we had tomatoes, strawberries, potatoes, squash, onions and sugar snap peas. This year I would like to add more Smile

Post Toddler plants.
Actually tomatoes and potatoes leaves are slightly poisonous.
I love to see kids in the garden it gets growing into their DNA and they grow up knowing where some of their food really comes from.

Peas and beans are good easy veggies for kids to grow and enjoy.

We did a blog a few years back on kids and gardening

I'm surprised about the tomatoes and potatoes. Thank you for the tips and blog links. We'll definitely have peas and beans this year Smile
