How about enlarging the Vegetable Selector window, to include tabs by groupings of vegetables, flowers, fruits, and herbs. Selecting Veggies from tis list would offer another tabbed layer, divided by type of veggies, for example, Root crops, which would contain beets, potatoes, radishes, turnips, etc.

The aim would be to allow the user to quickly drill down to find the plant you are looking for, rather than scrolling down a long list.

Three things:

1) This is a good idea, and we will consider doing it at some point, maybe soon.
2) We are working on a new feature that solve part of this problem. We are hoping to have a beta out this week so show off and test some of that functionality.
3) Did you know that you can grab the bottom of the vegetable selector and stretch it so more vegetables can be seen at once and it is easier to scroll.
