There are no margins when working either on screen or when printing. It would have a much better look to it if there were margins. It is also hard to work with plants that are near the edge of the garden.

Finding a good balance for providing nice presentation versus the people that push the envelope as to how large of a garden they want has been an ongoing battle. Recently I have gone towards allowing people to enter gardens up to 100x100 feet and grabbed every pixel available to handle this.

I understand that if you are working in a smaller garden a little padding around the garden would be nice.

Please let me know how much padding you want around the garden and I will see what I can do. I might be able to make a better fit button that would allow you to scale the garden in a bit if you were working on a space that is smaller than probably 80x80 or 90 by ninety.

Is the biggest problem that you have in the space at the top, left, bottom or in general all around the garden?
