Anyone know what's causing the leaf problem and how to fix?

Post Leaf miners on the loose. 
This is one of the leaf miners. They get between leaves and then do their damage.

This is their larval stage. When then grow up they will be a fly or small moth-like bug.

One way to get rid of them is just to squish the trails until you find them. You can 'Google' leaf miners and see if you can find a remedy that you like. I think that row covers that let in 95% of the light is the best solution for me. Once inside the leaf they are hard to control. Also hard to get rid of the fly/moth as you probably would have to kill everything that flies.
