hi, my onions are done growing, they are a strong, zesty flavor. also, my pea patch is just about done, maybe 1-2 more weeks.

my question is: do i leave the onions in the ground or can i pull and store them, then use the ground for a summer crop such as okra. same thing with peas. can i remove the vines and plant something else. if so, does anyone have suggestion as to what crops might follow either onions or peas well?

I just pulled my sugar snap peas and I am going to try cucumbers in the same space. We plane to add some mushroom compost before we replant. I'll let you know how it turns out.
