Yeah, and we are working on the sweat part every time the sun shines. Emptying the old place into storage, so we can do the rehab process unimpeded. Sunshine is nice because the roads are muddy this time of year. (when we are blessed with rain)

Sounds like you have your hands full with a great project. I wish you all the best and I'm sure everything with turn out terrific. Just remember the ol' saying ... Success is 10% ability, and 90%
sweat.

I'm pretty new, too, but very impressed so far -- really is helping me with the selections and I can see an advantage in rotating the garden as time passes.

cool trick!! Wonder if it works with carrots -- we used to start carrots from the root tips when I was a kid. We'd put them in jars and watch them grow new tops, but I never tried planting them back in the ground!!

Enjoyed reading your blog, and I'm curious to know how your garden is coming along now. I also have a free trial with Plangarden, so I'm making an effort to get as much as I can out of it!

Where are you BoBeannie? I am in Eastern Virginia and have a community garden plot this year. I have probably planted too close together, but they seem to be growing well. I have had green beans three times, cukes, squash and onions. The green worms attacked my cabbage, but I seem to have found them in time. I am really enjoying this garden and at 72 years of age am so happy I can do it!
